Covered transport for vehicles worth the extra care
Enclosed transport moves your vehicle inside a covered trailer, away from weather and road debris. It is the usual choice for collectors, restored classics, new exotics and anything you would not leave out in the rain.
A good fit for
- Restored and collector vehicles
- Exotic and high-value cars
- Show and auction vehicles
- Low-clearance or custom builds
Two kinds of enclosed trailer
| Feature | Soft-sided | Hard-sided |
|---|---|---|
| Walls | Heavy fabric curtain | Solid panel walls |
| Protects from | Weather and most road debris | Weather, debris and impacts |
| Common use | Good all-round enclosed option | Very high-value or show vehicles |
| Availability | Generally easier to schedule | Fewer trucks, book earlier |
Loading low vehicles
If your vehicle sits low, tell us the ride height when you request a quote. Some enclosed trailers use lift gates or extended ramps, and we can look for one that fits.
Plan for a wider window
There are fewer enclosed trucks than open ones, so flexible dates help. Book as early as you can, especially around major auctions and shows.
It offers more protection, but it costs more and has fewer trucks. For an ordinary daily driver, open transport is usually enough. For a car that is hard to replace, enclosed is worth considering.
Lift gate trailers exist for low-clearance vehicles, but not on every route. Add it to your transport requirements and we will confirm what is possible.
